In Priverno on market day

There is much to discover in Priverno. It is a tangle of narrow alleys, stairways, churches and ancient buildings, and has at its center a beautiful square-known as Piazza Grande-where a cathedral from 1100 and an almost coeval town hall stand. On Wednesdays along the outer street that hugs the village there is a merry market, a gathering place for locals. It is nice to mingle with them, buy local products, chat and feel like temporary citizens of Priverno at least for a few hours.
