The San Michele Fair in Santarcangelo

The San Michele Fair, historically documented as evidenced by a Malatesta edict from 1472, is celebrating its 654th edition.

On September 26 and 27, 2026, the beautiful town of Santarcangelo di Romagna (RN) will host this famous and ancient fair, also known as the Bird Fair or the Autumn Fair. The streets of the historic center will be filled with craft stalls, displays of plants and flowers, and stands featuring traditional food and agricultural products from the Romagna region.

The event is rounded out by local folklore performances, art exhibitions, and Romagna’s traditional food and wine specialties served in the town’s taverns.
