This trip will reveal enchanting places, rich in history and traditions, immersed in a unique and evocative atmosphere, where every moment will be an opportunity to discover, taste and admire the best that these charming villages have to offer.

Our guide will meet you at your hotel after breakfast to depart for Marostica, our first stop. Marostica is known worldwide for its chess game, which has been held every two years since 1923 with living characters. Also famous for its tasty cherries, this picturesque town will captivate you with its promenade that joins its two castles: a mighty crenellated wall connects, in fact, the two fortresses, creating a charming village that dominates the plain. We continue a few more kilometers to arrive in Bassano del Grappa, surrounded by the Alps and crossed by the impetuous and icy waters of the Brenta. This place is famous thanks to the splendid Ponte di Legno also known as Ponte degli Alpini, first built in the mid-12th century, later rebuilt to a design by the architect Palladio in the second half of the 1500s and renovated in the 1960s in the style and form you see today.

Stop for lunch in Piazza della Libertà before continuing the day by visiting the town of Cittadella, another Venetian wonder, resting on the ancient vestiges of a Roman past that the early medieval age partially erased. With its imposing walls and characteristic rounded plan, it is one of the most interesting centers in the Veneto region. The foundation of this charming walled city dates back to 1220, when Padua decided to create in the center of the Venetian plain a fortified place to protect the areas of the contado from Treviso and Vicenza.

During our walk we will stop at a wine shop to taste local wines and products before leaving Cittadella to return to our hotel.
