What we are going to do
This experience will allow you to discover the most famous peak of the Lombardy Pre-Alps, the mountain symbol of Lecco, protagonist of Lucia's famous "Addio Monti" in Manzoni's Promessi Sposi! From the summit it will be possible to enjoy a breathtaking view of the city, the main peaks of Lombardy, Lake Como and, on particularly clear days, the view can sweep as far as the Monte Rosa massif!
The hike will start from Italy's smallest municipality, Morterone, a tiny hamlet scattered among forests and mountain pastures. The ascent to the summit will be entirely on a well-mapped and marked trail. ...
