The guided tour of a local confectionery company will reveal the fascinating tradition of typical Sienese sweets, a history of almost a thousand years. The tour will start with learning about the finest raw materials such as almonds, candied fruit, and spices. We will tell you how we select them and describe their processing, showing you the machinery where it is used.

After learning about the raw materials, we move on to the actual production of our typical excellences: Panforte, Ricciarelli, Cantuccini, Cavallucci, and Amaretti. Depending on the daily production, you will be able to see how they are formed and baked. At the end, we will show and describe their packaging, with particular attention to the still entirely manual wrapping of the panforte. You can ask any questions you like and discover the secrets of the recipes.

The visit will end with a tasting of the most typical products. For those who want to take home a sweet memory, we have a retail shop open to the public.
