What we are going to do

We offer an easy walk through the historic chestnut groves of Caglio, accompanied by our guide who will tell you about the history of chestnut trees in the area, the relationship with the people of Caglio and their subsistence economy, customs, anecdotes and many interesting facts about this delicious forest fruit. Children will be offered themed games and/or workshops to be held together with their parents. At the conclusion of the visit everyone will enjoy tasty roasted chestnuts freshly cooked by our volunteers. The experience is free for children up to age 10.
