1 - The SharryLand Vision
SharryLand is the "Map of the Wonders of Rural Italy", a multilingual (5-language) multi-channel platform and mobile app designed and developed by SharryLand S.r.l. Società Benefit. It includes: a wiki system for the collaborative storytelling of local areas, a geolocated search engine, a social marketplace, and a community. SharryLand's objectives are to: (a) showcase and digitally preserve Italy's Widespread Cultural Heritage; (b) connect local areas by dynamically bringing together local operators and resources around the Wonders; and (c) provide practical tools and services that directly connect the demand and supply of experiences, services and products related to leisure and tourism, promoting a slow and sustainable approach to travel in close contact with local communities. Through these activities, SharryLand fosters the growth of a Community based on the principles of sharing, active participation and the common good, while promoting the resilience of rural communities in accordance with the objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
2 - Definitions
The following terms are used in this document:
Account: the essential information provided during Registration that identifies the User and allows access to certain tools and services available on the Platform.
App: the Android and iOS application available for download from the respective app stores.
Call to Action: proposals, initiatives, games, contests and similar activities launched by the Platform in line with its purposes.
Cherry Points / Ciliegie: "merit points" awarded to Users whose activities contribute to keeping the Platform active and vibrant.
Comments: personal comments that a User may leave on certain pages, for example on an Experience Page after taking part in an Experience.
Community: all Users registered on the SharryLand Platform.
Content: all texts, photographs, videos and other information uploaded to the Platform by SharryLand or by Users in connection with the Platform’s objectives and values or in response to a Call to Action, and reviewed and approved by SharryLand before publication.
Detail Page: a page that collects and organises Marketplace Content, such as an Experience, Local Product or Service.
Login: the process through which a Registered User accesses the Platform using the email address and password provided during registration.
Map of the Wonders: the collection of geolocated Content together with the tools for interaction, sharing, booking, buying and selling, searching and related activities.
Marketplace: the technological infrastructure providing booking and e-commerce tools..
Page: a page that collects and organises a specific item of Content made available on the Platform, for example a Profile, Wonder or Event.
Platform: the website www.sharry.land, including its social Marketplace, the related Android and iOS applications, all associated functionalities and services—whether provided directly or by third parties—and the related support and information services, including the website info.sharry.land.
Post: Contributions published by Users within the Community with the purpose of participating in the collaborative storytelling of local areas. Posts are published without prior editorial review; however, the Editorial Team reserves the right to hide any content that is irrelevant or inappropriate.
Profile: the personal page where a User may publish public information about themselves, keep track of Contributions published on the Platform, store personal information (private information), and more. The Profile is public and may appear in search results. It provides access to the Platform's main tools and features.
Pro Profile: the Profile of a professional User or a public body (guide, association, company, municipality, etc.). It provides access to the Marketplace tools.
Registered User: any natural or legal person (individuals over the age of 18, associations, companies, corporations or public bodies) who registers on the Platform and is therefore authorised to use its Tools and Services, becoming a member of the Community.
Registration: the process by which a User provides the minimum information required to create an Account and gain access to certain Platform Tools and Services. Registration is free of charge.
Reports: Contributions uploaded by Users with the aim of promoting knowledge of tangible or intangible Widespread Cultural Heritage treasures. Where they meet the Platform's quality and storytelling standards, Reports may become Wonders, that is, permanent Content on the Map.
SharryLand: see Platform.
SharryLander: see Registered User.
SharryLand S.r.l. Società Benefit: the company incorporated under Italian law that owns the SharryLand Platform.
Supplier User (Supplier): any Registered User of the SharryLand Platform with a professional profile who, through the Marketplace, offers for purchase or free use products, experiences or services created either by themselves or by third parties.
Terms of Use: the set of terms, conditions and behavioural policies governing all activities carried out on the Platform and within the Community, as set out in this document.
Tools and Services: the set of functionalities offered by the Platform to its Users (either directly or through third-party providers), including, by way of example, search tools for accessing Content; social tools for contacting, interacting with, following, sharing and providing feedback; and Marketplace tools.
Unregistered User: any natural or legal person (associations, companies, corporations, public bodies) who is not registered on the Platform. Unregistered Users have free access to the Platform's Content but not to its Tools and Services.
User Contributions: all texts, photographs, videos and other information independently published by Users on the Platform without prior editorial review, particularly posts published within the Community. The Editorial Team nevertheless reserves the right to hide User Contributions that are not relevant or that breach the rules of respectful interaction.
Validation: the review process carried out by the SharryLand Editorial Team before publishing Wonders, Events, Marketplace Content and, where agreed, Pro Profiles.
Wonders: Content relating to Italy's tangible and intangible Widespread Cultural Heritage, classified into categories such as Art, History, Nature, Food and more.
3 - SharryLand's Role and Responsibilities
3.1 - SharryLand is a Platform and mobile App dedicated to leisure activities and slow, sustainable tourism in rural and inland areas. It provides Users with tools designed to promote the enhancement of widespread natural and cultural heritage, as well as local economic and cultural resources, while facilitating the connection between the supply and demand of products, experiences and services related to leisure and holidays.
3.2 - SharryLand is a technological infrastructure and a marketplace. It does not become, under any circumstances, a party to contracts concluded directly between Community Users. Such contracts are therefore binding exclusively on the Users concerned. See Terms of Sale.
3.3 - SharryLand makes its Platform available to Users for hosting their Contributions, including text, photographic and video material.
3.4 - SharryLand updates Content without any predetermined schedule, either on its own initiative, following Users' proposals, in response to Calls to Action, or on behalf of local authorities.
3.5 - SharryLand has chosen to operate according to quality standards in order to provide a better service to its Users. To this end, it:
- carries out a formal review of Experiences, Products and Services before they are published on the Marketplace (Validation);
- may select, from among Reports of Wonders and Community Posts, those Contributions that meet SharryLand's quality standards and transform them into permanent Map Content (such as Wonders, Itineraries and Events) by validating and publishing them on the Map of the Wonders;
- monitors Profiles and may suggest improvements to Users;
- supervises Community activities and may hide Contributions that are inconsistent with the purposes of the Platform or relate to prohibited activities.
4 - Registration and Account
4.1 - The Platform's Content is freely accessible via the website and mobile App, including to Unregistered Users. However, access to certain Platform Tools and Services requires registration. Users may register either as natural persons by providing their first and last name, or as another legal entity by providing the organisation's name, business name or corporate name. Users registering on the Platform must be at least 18 years of age.
4.2 - During Registration, Users are required to read and expressly accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, and to undertake to comply with them.
4.3 - Upon registration, the User creates a personal Account, which may not be transferred or assigned to third parties. The User may, at any time, add, modify or delete information in the various sections of the Account. Deleting certain information may reduce or prevent access to some Platform features.
4.4 - SharryLand assumes no responsibility for verifying the accuracy of the identification information provided by Users during Registration. However, SharryLand reserves the right to carry out checks on Registered Users' Profiles in order to protect the Community.
4.5 - Professional Users wishing to offer the Community Experiences, local food and craft Products, or Services related to leisure activities and experiential tourism must register with a Pro Profile.
4.6 - Registered Users have access to social features (such as "Like", "Follow", "Share", "Favourites", etc.). Their Profile records social interactions and, through the "Cherry-o-Meter" (Ciliegiometro), the number of Cherry Points (Ciliegie) they have earned. The Profile is public, although it may be hidden from public view.
4.7 - If a User does not use the Platform's features for a period exceeding 24 consecutive months, the Platform may suspend the Account. If the Account remains unused for a further 12 consecutive months, it may be permanently deleted. Any Wonders published on the Platform as a result of the User's Reports or Posts will remain available to the Community under the terms previously accepted by the User, even if the Account has been suspended, deleted or the User has withdrawn from the Platform. Any other Content uploaded by the User (including Posts, Experiences, Products or Services) will no longer be accessible once the Account has been suspended, deleted or closed.
4.8 - SharryLand communicates with Users through newsletters, internal chat messages or notifications. With professional Users, it may also communicate by email, telephone or WhatsApp, based on the contact details provided by the Users.
5 - Acceptance of the Terms of Use
5.1 - These Terms of Use regulate, on a contractual basis, the relationship between SharryLand and the User concerning the User's use of the SharryLand Platform and therefore govern the relationships between the User and SharryLand, between the User and the Community, and between Users themselves.
5.2 - These Terms of Use are integrated into and expressly incorporated by reference in agreements entered into by SharryLand with municipalities, Local Action Groups (GAL), Regions, territorial promotion bodies, etc., as well as in contracts of any kind concluded between SharryLand and sponsors or other partners registered on the Platform.
5.3 - Registration on the Platform, downloading the App, and using the Tools and Services available through them imply and constitute the User's understanding, acceptance and compliance with these Terms of Use. The use by the User of third-party applications made available through the Platform is subject to acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Use of such third-party applications.
5.4 - These Terms of Use may be supplemented and updated over time in accordance with the development and expansion of the Tools and Services provided by the Platform. Any changes to the Terms of Use will be communicated to Users through notifications, newsletters, emails or other means. Users remain responsible for periodically checking that the version of the Terms of Use available on the Platform corresponds to the version previously accepted by them.
5.5 - If a User does not accept the updated version of the Terms of Use, the User may continue to access the free Content of the Platform, which is also available to Unregistered Users, but will not be able to access features and Content requiring Login.

7 - Prohibited Activities
7.1 - The quality of Content and the safety of the Community depend on the active, responsible and respectful contribution of each User. Every SharryLand User undertakes to comply with these Terms of Use, to interact lawfully, civilly and respectfully with other Users, to act in good faith and assume sole responsibility for Contributions provided, acquired, exchanged or modified both outside and within the Platform, to comply with applicable laws and third-party rights, and to act in accordance with SharryLand's values and purposes, which the User declares to know and accept.
7.2 - SharryLand reserves the right to verify at any time that Contributions uploaded or otherwise offered by Users on the Platform are consistent with its values and with the provisions of the accepted Terms of Use. SharryLand may, at its sole discretion, prevent their publication or remove any Contributions that violate such principles. Each User assumes exclusive responsibility for their activities on the Platform.
7.3 - Activities that may in any way harm other Users or that are contrary to applicable laws, SharryLand's values or its rules are therefore prohibited. The following activities are prohibited by way of example and without limitation:
- falsifying one's identity or attempting to impersonate another User;
- falsely claiming legally recognised qualifications or titles;
- using the Platform's Tools and Services for purposes contrary to SharryLand's values and to the Terms of Use and Terms of Sale;
- using the Platform's Tools and Services for unlawful purposes, solicitation or prostitution;
- harassing other Users through stalking, sending unwanted messages, using inappropriate language, chain emails or spam;
- violating the privacy of other persons (Users and non-Users) by using their images or personal data for purposes other than those for which they were obtained;
- intentionally uploading false Contributions;
- violating copyright, related rights or other intellectual or industrial property rights;
- carrying out web scraping activities;
- uploading material or publishing comments containing pornographic, child sexual abuse, violent, racist, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful content;
- defaming other persons (Users and non-Users) through false statements or accusations;
- distributing content containing viruses, malware, worms, trojans, malicious code or other elements capable of damaging SharryLand's technical infrastructure or systems, or those of other Users.
7.4 - SharryLand reserves the right to exclude, at its discretion, Users who fail to comply with these prohibitions or with these Terms of Use in general.
8 - User Activities
8.1 - Unregistered User. The Unregistered User may view all public Content (Wonders, Events, Experiences, Products, Services, Profiles and Posts) and related information, and may perform searches using the basic search engine functions (filters). The Unregistered User does not have access to Tools and Services reserved for Registered Users (interaction tools, social tools and Marketplace tools).
8.2 - Registered User. A Registered User accessing the Platform through Login may also use Tools and Services reserved for Registered Users, including Community social tools and Marketplace tools. Within the Marketplace, the User may act as a customer and/or, if eligible, as a Supplier User. The main activities that a Registered User may perform include:
- perform searches on SharryLand using the search engine and filters;
- authorise their own geolocation;
- view the Content of the Map of the Wonders, Marketplace and Community;
- use social tools (share, save, follow, etc.);
- publish posts, photographs and comments in the Community;
- connect with other Users through the chat;
- embed Content on their own website;
- participate in Calls to Action;
- receive "merit points" expressed as Cherry Points (Ciliegie) and counted through the Cherry-o-Meter (Ciliegiometro), and use them according to the methods provided by the Platform;
- book and/or purchase directly from the Supplier Experiences, Products and Services offered by professional Users through the Marketplace of the Map of the Wonders, accepting the Terms of Sale for this purpose;
- where available, request directly from the Supplier customisations of Experiences, Products and Services;
- report a problem, for example incorrect information or inappropriate content;
- access support services.
8.3 - Supplier User. A Supplier User may carry out all activities available to Registered Users and may also use the professional Tools and Services integrated into the Platform, in accordance with the purposes of the Platform, in order to:
- offer the booking and/or purchase of Experiences and Tourist Packages consistent with SharryLand's purposes;
- offer Services useful to travellers or visitors to a location;
- offer the purchase of local food, wine and craft products;
- use integrated tools for booking, payments, and the creation and management of groups;
- receive and manage customisation requests ("tailor-made requests");
- purchase enhanced visibility spaces (promotional cards and banners, Itineraries, Landing Pages, etc.) and other customised services.
9 - Terms of Sale
Users wishing to use SharryLand's social Marketplace to purchase, sell or book Experiences, Tourist Packages, Local Products and Services are required to read and accept the Terms of Sale.
10 - Types of Content
10.1 - The Map of Wonders collects, geolocates and indexes the permanent cultural Contents of the Map: Wonders (stories about the natural and cultural heritage of rural and inland areas), Itineraries, Events and User Profiles.
10.2 - The Marketplace collects, geolocates and indexes the Detail Pages of Experiences, Travel Packages, Local Products and Services uploaded by local operators registered with a Pro Profile (local businesses, associations, professionals) and published after validation.
10.3 - The Community is the space for free expression of Users, who may upload texts and photos in line with the purposes of the Community.
10.4 - PROFILE
10.4.1 - See Section 4 - Registration and Account
10.4.2 - Profiles may receive the “Verified” badge. Subject to prior agreement, groups of Profiles may be aggregated into Networks in order to strengthen their presence on the Map of Wonders.
10.5 - WONDERS
10.5.1 - Wonders are Pages dedicated to the treasures of the natural and cultural heritage of rural and inland areas or to itineraries outside the classic tourist circuits. They are permanent Contents of the Map of Wonders.
10.5.2 - Wonders may be uploaded by the SharryLand Editorial Team or by Registered Users in the form of Reports. Community Posts may also be selected by the Editorial Team and transformed into Wonders.
10.5.3 - Users may upload their Reports in short form (only with mandatory information) or in extended form (including useful information and a storytelling section), always in compliance with the purposes of SharryLand and these Terms of Use.
10.5.4 - Following verification by SharryLand, Reports and Posts may become Wonders and be published as permanent Contents on the Map. Verification checks the accuracy and completeness of information, the quality of communication (storytelling), photographic documentation, identifies keywords to facilitate searches and indexing, etc. This means, for example, that Contributions uploaded by Users may undergo even substantial changes (shortening, additions, rewriting, deletions). In particular, texts copied from other web sources are not accepted (also for indexing reasons).
10.5.5 - On the published Wonder Page, the name and (if available) the profile photo of the User who reported it appear, with a link to their Profile Page. The Profile Page of the User who submitted the Report keeps track of all their Reports published as Wonders. If the User deletes their Profile, Wonders and Events published using their Contributions will nevertheless remain available to the Community.
10.5.6 - In the spirit of SharryLand, Users’ Reports become materials made available to the Platform and may be selected, combined, verified, modified, integrated and updated by the Platform.
10.5.7 - The User who uploads a Report receives merit points expressed in Cherries as a token of appreciation. These points are collected and accumulated in the Cherry Meter of their Profile.
10.6 - EVENTS
Events are Pages dedicated to traditional, cultural, religious and sports events that express the identity of a territory and its cultural vitality. Recurring Events are permanent Contents of the Map; one-off events, once they have taken place, are no longer displayed among search results but remain accessible through links. Events are uploaded by authorised Profiles, which are also responsible for keeping them updated.
10.7 - COMMUNITY POSTS
10.7.1 - Every User registered on the Platform may publish Posts in the SharryLand Community.
10.7.2 - The topics addressed in the Community are related to discovering rural and inland areas, sustainable tourism, examples of resilience and good practices, and the enhancement and protection of widespread natural and cultural heritage, such as: recommendations on places to visit and experiences to enjoy, comments and photos about events, etc.
10.7.3 - The system allows Users to geolocate Posts, add links to Wonders, Profiles and Events, add hashtags and share content through widgets.
10.7.4 - Contents unrelated to the themes and purposes of the Platform may be hidden by the Editorial Team.
10.7.5 - Posts that are particularly interesting in relation to the themes and purposes of the Platform may be selected by the Editorial Team and become permanent Contents of the Map of Wonders (Wonders, Itineraries, Events).
10.8 - EXPERIENCES
10.8.1 - An Experience means activities organised by local professionals (guides, cultural associations, etc.) to discover rural and inland areas and/or places outside the classic tourist routes, such as: guided tours, hiking, cycling or horseback excursions, non-competitive sports activities, tastings, themed dinners, cooking classes, creative workshops, etc.
10.8.2 - The term Experience refers to all sales that do not include other tourism services such as transfers, accommodation and other related services, booked under a single contract with a single provider.
10.8.3 - The Provider must ensure that the Experience takes place as described on the Detail Page and includes everything specified in the “What is included” section on the date of purchase. Unless otherwise specified, dates and times may be agreed during the completion of the contract and will be considered binding elements of the agreement between Provider and Customer.
10.8.4 - Experiences are booked and/or sold through the SharryLand Marketplace tools.
10.9 - TRAVEL PACKAGES
10.9.1 - The term Travel Package or Package Holiday refers to all sales including at least two different types of tourism services for the same trip or holiday, such as transfers, accommodation and other related services, booked under a single contract with a single provider, lasting one or more days.
10.9.2 - The Provider (holding the authorisations required by law) may offer Travel Packages on the Marketplace in line with the philosophy and objectives of SharryLand. The activities included in the Travel Package and its duration are accurately described on the Detail Page and include everything specified in the “What is included” section at the date of purchase. Unless otherwise specified, optional services and stages, dates and times will be agreed during the completion of the contract and will be accepted as binding elements of the agreement between Provider and Customer.
10.9.3 - Among Travel Packages, “SharryLand Journeys” is a trademark of SharryLand s.r.l. Società Benefit, which promotes it through its own channels. SharryLand Journeys are sold by an incoming specialised Tour Operator: MJ Tour, a SharryLand partner.
10.10 - SERVICES
10.10.1 - The term Services refers to services useful for experiencing and enjoying a territory during holidays or leisure time.
10.10.3 - Services are booked or sold through the SharryLand Marketplace tools.
10.11 - LOCAL PRODUCTS
10.11.1 - Local Products are products related to food and wine and creative crafts, handcrafted by local producers and representative of local identity and excellence.
10.11.2 - Among Food and Wine products, with particular attention to organic products, examples include, but are not limited to, cured meats, cheeses, beers, wines, oils, honey, jams, etc.
10.11.3 -Among Craft Products, examples include, but are not limited to, wooden, metal, glass, paper, textile and ceramic objects, natural cosmetics, artistic creations, etc.
10.11.4 - The Provider must include on the Detail Page of each Product all information useful for choosing and purchasing the Product: description, photos, variants, delivery methods, etc.
10.12 - ACCOMMODATIONS
10.12.1 - Accommodations are hospitality facilities located in rural and inland areas, such as, by way of example: farm stays, B&Bs, inns, bike hostels, historic residences, etc., as well as non-hotel accommodation facilities.
10.12.2 - Accommodation facilities do not have a Detail Page like other products and services, but may be present on the Platform through their geolocated and validated Profile, with a highlighted link to their own booking system.
10.13 - LANDS AND COLLECTIONS
10.13.1 - “Lands” are special Landing Pages that collect and organise the contents of a specific territory: Wonders, Events, Experiences, Local Products and Operators. “Lands” may act as a “local tourist office”; they may include an advertising system and other tools that support multichannel communication and territorial networks.
10.13.2 - Collections are thematic groupings of Contents.
10.14 - FEEDBACK AND COMMENTS
10.14.1 - The User who has booked an Experience or who has made a booking or purchase of Products or Services through the SharryLand Marketplace may express their appreciation by selecting “Like” or uploading a Comment and one or more photos.
10.14.2 - The User is solely responsible for the Comment uploaded and undertakes to use appropriate language, not to provide inaccurate, misleading or unlawful information, and not to infringe third-party rights.
10.14.3 - SharryLand reserves the right to remove Comments if they violate these Terms of Use or to republish Comments in other contexts aimed at enhancing the Map of Wonders and its Contents.
11 - Intellectual Property
11.1 - The User may upload their own Contributions (texts, photos, links to videos) to the Platform. Uploading Contributions to the Platform without indicating their author implies that the User who uploaded them claims authorship.
11.2 - The uploading of Contributions by the User or any other form of making Contributions available through the Platform entails the granting to SharryLand S.r.l. Società Benefit of a non-exclusive, free-of-charge, worldwide, fully or partially transferable, irrevocable and perpetual licence to store, retrieve, duplicate, modify, publish, transmit, disseminate, use in any manner and through any medium or tool, including for commercial purposes, the Contributions uploaded by the User, for the purposes of the Platform. Where the Contributions uploaded by the User contain personal data, the provisions of the SharryLand Privacy Policy shall apply.
11.3 - The User may upload third-party Contents to the Platform if they qualify as Free Cultural Works and are published under Free Content Licences (Open Content Licences), such as Creative Commons, Copyzero or Art Libre.
11.4 - The User may upload Public Domain Contents or “open by default” Contents to the Platform. For “open by default” contents (published, for example, by Public Administrations), reference is made to Article 52 of the Italian Digital Administration Code (CAD, Legislative Decree 82/2005). For a preliminary general assessment of whether a work qualifies as being in the Public Domain, reference is made to a website offering a calculation method to determine the possible existence and duration of copyright and related rights relating to a specific work: lawflow.org
11.5 - In compliance with copyright laws, trademark laws or other forms of intellectual property protection, the User may not upload to the Platform Contents created by others without their explicit consent, the obtaining of which must be expressly confirmed by the User under their own responsibility. Therefore, the User may not upload, by way of example, most images or texts found on the Internet, drawings of comic book and cartoon characters (even if created by the User), trademarks, logos, TV programme frames, etc., without documenting the consent granted by the holders of the authorship and/or economic exploitation rights relating to such images or texts.
11.6 - In the case of photographs, where the subject photographed requires consent from the holders of authorship rights and/or image exploitation rights in order for the photograph representing it to be disseminated, such consent must be expressly confirmed by the User under their own responsibility. Therefore, the User may not upload, by way of example, most images of artworks owned by Museums, public or private collectors, contained inside Churches or other places of worship, architectural works or design works, etc., without documenting the consent granted by the holders of the exploitation rights relating to such images.
12 - Licences of Use
12.1 - SharryLand promotes the principle of sharing Contents for the benefit of the Community, in accordance with the principles that inspired, among other things, the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities and the Copyleft movement. In this context, SharryLand promotes the protection of the rights of authors of Contents uploaded by Users to the Platform.
12.2 - The User who publishes Posts and/or reports Wonders and Events acknowledges that they upload their own Contributions to the Platform under a Free Content Licence. The User undertakes to verify that any third-party materials uploaded to the Platform are classified as Free Cultural Works and adopt a Free Content Licence or are in the Public Domain. In any event, SharryLand reserves the right not to accept Contributions uploaded by Users released under licences that are not consistent with the principles of freedom and sharing inspiring its initiative.
12.3 - With a view to sharing and dissemination, Pages published on the Platform (Wonders, Events, Posts, Profiles, Experiences, Products, Services) may be shared in their entirety through other channels (including Facebook, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp, email) or embedded in other websites through the widget made available free of charge on the individual Pages.
12.4 - Texts and photos of Pages classified as Wonders (icon: star) and as Events (icon: calendar), and of Community Posts — except texts and photos expressly marked as Copyright — are deemed to be published under a Creative Commons licence and may be individually used for personal and non-commercial purposes, citing the source and following the instructions available at www.creativecommons.it
12.5 - Texts and photos of Profile Pages and Marketplace Detail Pages (Experiences, Travel Packages, Local Products, Services) are deemed to be owned by the User who owns the Page and may only be used by other Users with prior authorisation from the legitimate rights holders.
13 - Responsibility
13.1 - SharryLand monitors, to the extent possible, the quality of the Content, the accuracy of the information, the correctness of Users’ behaviour, and the security and efficiency of data protection systems, and implements the most advanced strategies to maintain the Platform and the Community as a healthy and safe environment.
13.2 - SharryLand also reserves the right to hide Content deemed inappropriate or not compliant with the purposes and Terms of Use, as well as the right to update, correct, supplement and complete Content provided by Users and published as Wonders (star icon) and Events (calendar icon).
13.3 - SharryLand does not guarantee the quality of Content uploaded by Users, the accuracy of information disclosed by Users, the correctness of Users’ behaviour, or the security and efficiency of the systems used by Users, and shall in no way be liable for infringements of third-party rights caused by its Users or for any damage caused to Users or third parties that may in any way be connected to Users’ interactions on the Platform.
13.4 - SharryLand asks its Users to fully respect the rights of authors and creators, both on the part of those who provide and those who use the materials uploaded to the Platform.
13.5 - Anyone who believes that a work of theirs posted by a User on the Platform has been used in violation of copyright laws may report the matter to SharryLand by submitting a detailed complaint using the “Report a Problem” tool available on many pages or by completing the Contact form.
14 - Trademarks and Software
The SharryLand trademark and its related logo, as well as the software, are registered and owned by SharryLand S.r.l. Società Benefit. Improper use or commercial use of the trademark and logo is not permitted. However, SharryLand welcomes the use by Users of its trademark and logo for non-commercial purposes and in line with SharryLand’s vision and objectives. Commercial use of the SharryLand trademark and logo may be granted to third parties subject to the execution of a licence agreement.
15 - Termination
The User may stop using the Platform at any time by clicking on “Delete your Account and all information”, accessible from the Profile Page (Settings menu). Users whose behaviour is contrary to the Terms of Use, SharryLand’s philosophy or applicable laws may be excluded from the Community and their Account may be suspended or deleted by SharryLand.
By deleting the Account, the Profile page is anonymised and any links to the Profile page are disabled. Any Wonders and Events published thanks to contributions from the User who deleted their Profile will remain available to the Community, in accordance with the Terms of Use previously accepted, without reference to the name of the User who submitted them.
Any Experiences, Travel Packages, Products or Services uploaded by the User who deleted their Profile and published in the Marketplace will no longer be accessible. Any Posts or comments uploaded by the User who deleted their Profile in the Community will no longer be visible.
SharryLand reserves the right to suspend or terminate the services at any time, with or without cause and with or without prior notice.
16 - Disputes
16.1 - The User agrees that these Terms of Use shall be governed by Italian law and by the applicable European Union legislation. Any disputes that may arise between SharryLand S.r.l. Società Benefit and Users shall be subject to a prior ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) procedure, where such procedure is required by Italian law as a condition for subsequently accessing judicial protection.
16.2 - If the disputes remain unresolved following the ADR procedure, and Italian jurisdiction does not provide for specific functional jurisdiction over their examination and decision by certain courts depending on the status of the parties or the nature of the subject matter of the dispute, any dispute relating to the interpretation, validity, effectiveness, application or enforcement of these Terms of Use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Padua (Italy).
