The Visconti castle of Bereguardo

Bereguardo's name comes from the French Beau Regard, meaning beautiful look, and alludes to its elevated position on the Ticino River that gave the eye a sweeping view of the surrounding woods. This was in fact the hunting reserve of the Visconti family.
