Bereguardo's is one of the few remaining barge bridges in Italy. It has been in existence since 1374, although the wooden boats were replaced in the early 1900s with concrete boats.

The bridge follows the flow of the river: when the water level rises, boats rise. It is a thrill to cross it on foot or by car because it feels a bit wobbly. The landscape around it is a wonder.
