How can we help you?
Telling Wonders
How do you tell a Wonder?
Go to your Profile (access it from the dropdown menu or by clicking on your profile photo) and select Recommend Wonders. Click “Start”. You will find a guided path made up of simple questions and divided into sections. To move from one section to another, click the “Next” button; to go back, click the section you want in the menu on the left. The first section contains the required fields (marked with an asterisk). Once you reach the final section, you can also add your personal comment.
Click “Submit” to send your Wonder to SharryLand. If you’re not ready to submit, you can save your work as a draft and finish it later: at the top left you’ll find the “Save and exit” option. NB: After submitting, you will no longer be able to edit the text. If needed, contact the Editorial Office.
What is a Flash Wonder?
The Flash Wonder is a photographic Wonder, without the narrative. Click on your profile photo and go to Your Wonders. Click “Start”. You will find a guided path divided into sections. To report a Flash Wonder, simply complete the information in the first section, upload the photos and click the “Send now” button. The Flash Wonder will then be reviewed by the editorial team before being published.
Any writing tips?
- To get an idea of how to tell, explore the Wonders already published.
- Choose to tell about a special place you know well, so you can give accurate, tasty, and useful news.
- Use your own words and don't copy from the web.
- When you write, remember that the goal is to create curiosity, to make people fall in love, to entice them to take a trip to discover this special place.
- Before you start, check if there is already a full page of the place you want to tell about. If so, you can still share your photos or give a different slant to your story.
I sent a Wonder. Now what?
Wonders and Flash Wonders, once submitted, are visible only to you — the author of the report — and to the SharryLand Editorial Team. The contents will be reviewed by the Editorial Team and, if considered suitable, published. If necessary, they may be integrated, edited or enriched to create a narrative that is as complete and engaging as possible. All content that does not align with the purpose of the platform (promoting the natural and cultural heritage of rural Italy and places outside classic tourist routes) or that contains inappropriate or vulgar information will be rejected.
