In the hamlet above Alassio, from long ago the Festa delle Biscette is a must-attend event that recalls an ancient legend of intrusive "serpentelli." In the square of the small village, a very simple dough, previously made to rise, is fried; flour, a little water, sugar, and sylvan fennel seeds the ingredients, which artistic hands turn into sweet "Biscette." A beautiful village festival where you can also taste other Ligurian specialties, accompanied by music and joviality.
