The Abbey Market in Bivongi

It's called a "market," but it's a special event to be experienced in the heart of the village of Bivongi, in the province of Reggio Calabria. Every year in August, for two days beautiful alleys of the medieval village are filled with stalls, creativity, intoxicating flavors and fragrances and much, much fun between music, shows and activities designed especially for children. At the Market of the Badia you will find crafts, local products, lots of good food and the wonderful local wines, which in Bivongi, are a wonder! And then the people: you will find yourself immersed in a big party where you can meet those who were born and raised in Bivongi, immersing yourself for a little while in the truest soul of this beautiful village.
