The characters evoked by the actors of teatrOrtaet describe the Giottesque cycle in an emotional frame, which is articulated around three major contrasts: wealth-poverty; fame-infamy; salvation-damnation. Around these thematic cores appear also subjects that, although "absent" in the Chapel, constitute its indispensable historical-conceptual framework.
