Today it is a ruined structure that is not easy to reach, but what a marvel: a still imposing bulk on the rock that supports it, culminated by the full tower that observes the valley.
The name, Pietratagliata, comes from the fact that several rooms that make up the castle are not clinging to the rock, as is often the case, but carved into it. Very impressive indeed!
