Majenca, the Fertility Festival

Above a fir tree trunk more than fifteen meters high,a cherry blossom tree decorated with ribbons is placed and will be installed in the main square of San Dorligo.Young people prepare for weeks to celebrate this ancient festival, paying homage to the beautiful season with songs, dances, music and dressing in traditional clothes.For all visitors, the opportunity to enjoy rich dishes of an Italian/Slovenian cuisine and delight in excellent local wines and oil samples.
